R. Baker & Son performed the selective demolition for Mannkind's Danbury, CT insulin manufacturing facility.
The selective demolition consisted of removing concrete slab, structural steel, elevators, exterior siding, loading docks, staircases, masonry walls; utilizing skid steers, walk-behind saws, mini-excavators equipped with scrubbers.
All work was performed while a portion of the building remained active. During this work air monitoring was performed on a daily basis.
