R. Baker & Son performed the dismantling, decommissioning, rigging and removal of Toronto's R.L. Hearn Generating Station, Canada's largest turbine generator powerhouse.

The project involved the dismantling, rigging, salvaging and selective demolition of twelve 250-ton turbine generators and associated condensers.

R. Baker & Son crews safely, methodically and expertly approached every aspect of the dismantling project with extreme care and professionalism. The project was originally slated for a 12 month duration, however, to our clients amazement, R. Baker & Son completed the project in a little over six months.

R. Baker & Son worked seamlessly and effortlessly dealing with the Canadian government requirements pertaining to work Visa's all the way through the stringent environmental and health regulations.
