Versa Lift

When it comes to the demands of moving heavy machinery and materials, there are few tools that can handle these tasks better than the Versa-Lift by Custom Mobile Equipment, Inc. Not to be confused with Versalift, the Versa-Lift takes the capabilities of a heavy-duty telehandler forklift and a crane and combines them into a smaller, more versatile package. 

The first Versa-Lift model, the 40/60, came to market in 1994, and demand for the machinery quickly grew. Since then, Custom Mobile Equipment has introduced various new models to accommodate their customers’ specific needs. Versa-Lifts feature forks, masts, and booms, and come equipped with extendable counterweights to balance out the loads. Lifting capacities range from 17,000 lbs. (Versa-Lift 17/25) to 140,000 lbs. (Versa-Lift 100/140). They have a relatively small turning radius and are very maneuverable. For job sites that require low or no emissions, Custom Mobile Equipment offers the Versa-Lift Electric 25/35. Optional features include remote control capabilities, fork positioners, side shifts, and custom forks. 

R. Baker & Son owns several Versa-Lift models and we use them regularly. They’re some of our best workhorses and are highly popular with our rigging team, who are all trained to operate the Versa-Lift. In fact, we’re looking into another Versa-Lift because we have more demand from our rigging crews than we have machines.
