Our founder, Ruby Baker, started R. Baker & Son in 1935 during the Great Depression - hard times for sure. Getting work was not easy for anyone; you had to earn trust. Ruby built this company on relationships, one at a time, and our core values remain the same. 

Our mission was and still is to provide best-quality services in everything we do. Since the beginning, we have accomplished this by populating our team with talented, dependable people who can get the work done as safely and efficiently as possible – a simple recipe. We still hold true to the values our founder passed down through generations serving customers. It's been said to always take the high road because it's less crowded. Be there, provide the best possible value and service, and they won't forget.
